Tonight our rescue company drilled on ropes and rigging. Our Rescue-Squad is equipped with the basic equipment to descend a crew to a low angle position and rescue a patient. Equipment includes ropes, pulleys, prusiks, webbing, stokes and carabiners to name a few.

Several of our members recently completed extensive rope training and are able to rescue from high angle positions as well. The focus of tonight’s training was equipment recognition and basic set up of a 3:1 pulley system.
