On Friday June 30th, 2023 at 10:10, the Sadsburyville Fire Company was part of the automatic aid assignment to the 200 block of Wilmington Road in East Fallowfield Township for a house fire with burn victims. This was a Westwood Fire Company first due on Fire Box 44-08. Rescue 31 made the response to this call.

Westwood Engine 44-5 arrived first due and units encountered 2 burn victims in the front yard and a working fire of a 1.5 story ordinary construction home. Firefighters entered the structure for fire attack, searched the home, knocked the fire and began ventilation.

Additional units arrived and assisted with water supply and salvage and overhaul. Within 15 minutes of arrival, firefighters had the fire under control and Westwood EMS was tendering care to all patients involved.

Rescue 31 remained on scene just under 2 hours before being released by command.
