Auto Accident in Boyd's Corner, Sadsbury Township

As rush hour was at its peak and the day light was gone, an auto accident occurred at the intersection of Route 30 and Compass Road in Sadsbury Township. The Sadsburyville Fire Company and EMS were dispatched to respond.

Arriving at 1754, Fire Chief Grossman confirmed a two vehicle accident with one injury and established the Route 30 Command. Engine 31-1 and Engine 31-2 both responded and arrived to block oncoming traffic and provided scene lighting for first responder safety.

EMS transported one patient to a local trauma center for further evaluation. The Sadsbury Township Police Department was on scene investigating the matter. M and N Towing of Parkesburg removed both of the vehicles from the roadway.
