First call for the day came in around 0900, being an auto accident at Route 10 and Beacon Light Road in Sadsbury Township. Keystone Valley EMS was also on the call. A multi vehicle accident was reported at this intersection and Engine 31-1 was on the street responding within minutes.

Battalion Chief Brecht arrived first reporting a 3 vehicle accident with multiple injuries. A second ambulance was dispatched to the scene summoning the White Horse Fire Company, Ambulance 49.

Firefighters arrived and assisted EMS with patient care and cleared the roadway of debris. There was no entrapment and all patients were walking wounded so hydraulic rescue equipment was not required.

Both ambulances on scene transported patients to a local hospital for further evaluation. Fire Police remained on scene assisting with traffic control until the vehicles could be removed from the roadway.
