Auto Accident with Injuries on Lincoln Highway, Sadsbury Township

On November 5th, 2016 around 2100 the Sadsburville Fire Company and Keystone Valley EMS were dispatched to the 300 block of Old Mill Road in Sadsbury Township for an auto accident. Chief Grossman marked up after dispatched and was advised of a two vehicle accident with unknown injuries.
Engine 31-1 and Utility 31 responded 6 minutes after the time of dispatch with a crew of 10. Chief Grossman arrived to confirm the reports adding two injuries. Due to the second injury a second ambulance was requested to the scene. This summoned Westwood EMS, and Ambulance 44-1 was on the street immediately.
Engine 31-1 provided scene protection by positioning to block oncoming traffic protecting the responders and also lighting. Firefighters assisted with patient care and cleaning the roadway of debris.
Ambulance 08-2 and Ambulance 44-1 both transported to a local hospital for further evaluation. Sadsburyville units cleared the scene at 2142.
