Sadsburyville Fire Company Receives Donation
By Firefighter/EMT Bill Dill
August 27, 2007
On August 27th, 2007, prior to our weekly training a special visit was made to our firehouse from a member of the Central Baptist Church in the Pomeroy section of Sadsbury Township. The member of the church had a donation check for the fire company and a stuffed dalmation dog to use as the firehouse mascot.
A couple of weeks ago QRS Lieutenant Weaver and Firefighter Conroy made a trip down to this church along with the Pomeroy Fire Company Ambulance to show their equipment to the civilians of Sadsbury Township. The money will go into our building account for the new firehouse and the dalmation was placed in the front seat of Engine 31-1.
The officers and members of the Sadsburyville Fire Company would like to thank the Central Baptist Church and Pastor Paul Jones for the donation.
