| On Monday, July 21st, 2014 members of the Sadsburyville and Westwood Fire Companies continued our joint training focusing on vehicle rescue; specifically stabilization and air bag usage.
Chief Grossman and Wetswood Assistant Chief Scott lead the evening's training session.
Practical evolutions utilizing both hand tools and powered rescue tools were conducted.
Crews focused on proper stabilization of vehicles utilizing cribbing and struts. Firefighters also utilized air bags for lifting and addressed procedures for assembling an air bag system for a safe lifting operation.
