| A Quarter Raffle benefiting the Sadsburyville Fire Company was held for the first time on February 1st, 2014. The Raffle was an amazing success given the short notice to vendors and guests alike.
The membership was notified a few short weeks prior to the event, as a result of another venue having to cancel. Over 10 vendors and 100 playing guests enjoyed a fun filled evening.
In addition to vendors providing auction items, the Sadsburyville Fire Company, EMB Specialty LLC and Insurance Agency LLC provided gift baskets to be chanced off, with all proceeds going to the fire company. A final 50/50 benefiting the fire company concluded the evening.
A big thank you to all the vendors, active crew members and supporting cast to make this raffle a success. A hats off to EMS Captain Debbie Supplee and Deputy Chief Kevin Supplee for manning the kitchen during the event. Another Quarter Raffle will be scheduled for late April/early May, so stay tuned to our website and our Facebook page for this and other interesting announcements! |
