Vehicle Into House on Octorara Trail

On the late night of December 30th, 2012 at 2355 hours, despite frigid temperatures and snowy roads, volunteers from the Sadsburyville Fire Company bared it all to respond to an auto accident with injuries in the 1100 block of Octorara Trail in Sadsbury Township.

At 0000 hours Lieutenant Loesch arrived on location to find one patient lying on the ground and requested advance life support. At 0002 Assistant Chief Yervelli arrived on scene and assumed Octorara Trail Command. Engine 31-1 assisted with patient care upon arrival and provided lighting and traffic control at the scene.

Ambulance 29 transported 1 patient to a local hospital for further evaluation. Sadsburyville units cleared the scene at 0034 hours.
