On June 6th, 2013 at 1306 hours, the Sadsburyville Fire Company and Ambulance 08 were dispatched to the westbound Route 30 bypass at mile marker 268.5 for an auto accident. Additional calls put it westbound Route 30 bypass west of Airport Road with entrapment, with this being a Westwood Fire Company local, they were dispatched.
Another call to 911 placed the accident back in Sadsbury Township and now with entrapment. With this being said the re-dispatch went out summoning Wagontown Rescue 35 and Medic 93-4.
Engine 31-1 led by Lieutenant McCarthy arrived first on location at 1315 hours at mile marker 269.1 with a vehicle off the roadway with confinement, this turned out to be in West Caln Township and a Wagontown Fire Company local.
Westwood Battalion Chief Sly arrived on location and assumed bypass command.
Sadsburyville and Wagontown Firefighters assisted getting the occupants out of the car.
Ambulance 08 went available with no services as it was out of their district. Both Westwood Ambulances went available because nobody required transport to a local hospital.
