Standby at West Bradford Fire Company

On Saturday May 11th, 2013 Engine 31-1 stood by for the West Bradford Fire Company during their time of need. On this day they were laying to rest Captain Robbie Miller who succumbed to injuires following a motorcycle accident.
While on stand by for Station 39 no calls for service were answered. However Station 39 had a birthday party scheduled to go to on this day and Engine 31-1 took care of that for them.
In addition while at Station 39, crews back in Sadsburyville and Engine 31-2 handled an auto accident on the eastbound bypass. Modena Chief Dowlin arrived on location with 1 to be checked. Engine 31-2 arrived and assisted EMS with blocking the highway until the road was clear.
