Vehicle Rescue Training
By Fire Chief Adam Grossman
July 18, 2011
On July 18th, 2011 the Sadsburyville Fire Company Volunteers conducted vehicle rescue as their weekly training assignment.
Crews utilized the equipment on Engine 31-1 to review stabilization, disentanglement and packaging of patients, all things that would be complete during a vehicle rescue. In addition crews reviewed scene size up before, during and after a vehicle accident scene, hazard control and post rescue, which is cleaning up after the incident.
Thank you to all volunteers for continuing to train for the great service we provide to our community.
