Thursday Night Cookout For Our Bingo Players
By Firefighter Ray Zwick
May 26, 2011
On Thursday May 26th, 2011 between running 2 fire calls and 2 Quick response calls for the day, our members had a cook out in recognition of Memorial Day and appreciation to our Bingo players for their weekly contributions.
The food included hots dogs, hamburgers, potato chips, baked beans, potato salad, macaroni salad, cheese, pepperoni, crackers pretzels and all the fixings. The food was at no charge to our Bingo players.
We have Bingo every Thursday starting at 1830 hours, we encourage everyone to come out and have a night full of fun!
Chief Grossman behind the grill and coordinated the event.
Bingo players helped their selves to all they could eat!
Plenty of food to go around!
The idea came from Secretary Fred Wolfe who also coordinates Bingo on a weekly basis.
