| Over the past couple months the company members have been volunteering their extra time at the station to make some improvements in looks and space. Several nights were spent painting the exterior doors and trim of the building and the interior of the engine room, in addition to adding 18 gear racks to furnish the wall of the engine room.
In addition a interior non load bearing wall was relocated giving 4 more feet of space to the rear of Engine 1's bay and new garage doors were installed which added 2 feet in width and 6 inches of height to each engine bay.
Thank you to all the members for volunteering their free time. Thank you to Sunbelt Rental of Downingtown for donating scaffolding for us to use. Thank you to Claire Audette for providing us with food for lunch on the weekend. A special thanks to Past Chief James Supplee and Deputy Chief Dave Reynolds for leading the building projects with their construction expertise.
