| On Saturday November 7th, 2009 the Sadsburyville Fire Company with Engine 31-2 covered the West End of Coatesville during their annual banquet from Station 43. The request was given to us by Assistant Chief Pacana to cover their local during the "Unity and Traditions" Banquet being held at the Coatesville Moose.
Engine 31-2 with 5 volunteers gladly accepted the invitation and manned Station 43 from 1630-2215 hours. During the time period we were thankfully fed by the Little Chef of Coatesville.
At 1752 hours Engine 31-2 (Conroy) responded to an auto accident at East Lincoln Highway and South Tenth Avenue. Along with Downingtown Engine 45 from Station 41, volunteers arrived to find a two vehicle accident with minor injuries. Engine 31-2 picked up at 1802 hours and headed back to Station 43 to await more calls. Fortunately that was the only run we ran that night.
Thank you to City of Coatesville Assistant Chief Pacana for allowing us to help them out in their time of need as we know they would do the same for us. |
