| On Monday December 8th, 2008 at 06:08 hours the Sadsburyville Fire Company was dispatched to the Route 30 Bypass east bound west of Airport Road for a reported vehicle fire. Chief Supplee was the first arriving officer to find a fully involved automobile.
Chief Supplee established Bypass Command while Battalion Chief Grossman assumed the Operations role.
Engine 31-2 responded and was advised to proceed to Airport Road and come westbound in the eastbound lane while the Pennsylvania State Police had all eastbound traffic blocked off.
