| On Sunday October 26th, 2008 at 1500 hours the Parkesburg Fire Company and Sadsburyville Fire Company for an engine for were dispatched to the 400 block of Route 10 in Parkesburg Borough for a reported All Terrain Vehicle on fire.
Engine 28 and Engine 31-2 made the response along with Parkesburg Deputy Chief Reynolds. Units arrived in the area and could not locate a 400 block of Route 10 in Parkesburg Borough.
The Chester County 911 center was advised of the situation and called the 911 caller back to get better locations to the fire. Units were then advised the location would be 400 block of Route 10 in West Sadsbury Township. All units responded to that location.
Firefighter/EMT McWilliams arrived first and located the fire 1 mile off of Route 10 in West Sadsbury Township, about 3 miles away from the original dispatched location.
Units quickly extinguished the fire using fire extinguishers and both companies returned to their respective stations. |
