| This morning at 9:48 a.m., the Sadsburyville Fire Company was dispatched to assist the Keystone Valley Fire Department with a house fire in the 8000 block of North Moscow Road in West Sadsbury Township.
Chief 8 arrived on the scene, established command, and immediately requested a working fire dispatch after observing heavy smoke and flames coming from the first floor and basement of the residence. Due to limited hydrant availability in the area, a tanker task force was also dispatched to support water supply operations.
Rescue 31 and Engine 31 responded to the incident. The crew from Rescue 31 assisted with fire suppression and overhaul, while Engine 31 was directed to Sadsbury Commons to set up a fill site for the tanker task force to ensure an adequate water supply.
The fire was brought under control within an hour.
