On Thursday June 19th, 2025 at 13:37, the Sadsburyville Fire Company, Keystone Valley EMS and Westwood Medics were dispatched to the westbound Route 30 Bypass at Old Mill Road in Sadsbury Township for an auto accident. EMS units made an immediate response to the incident followed by Rescue 31 and the Fire Chief.

Units arrived on scene of the westbound Route 30 Bypass to find a tractor trailer that was over the Old MIll Road Bridge and landed on Old Mill Road, just north of Business Route 30. The tractor trailer was leaking fuel and the Chester County Haz Mat team was called to the scene. There was also another vehicle involved in the accident on the Route 30 Bypass.

Deputy Chief Scott arrived and established the Sadsburyville Command and transferred all communications to WestOPS1 for operations. Additional units from Sadsburyville, Engine 31 and Brush 31 also responded to the bypass and Rescue 31 took position on Old MIll Road.
