Firefighter Hume Completes Firefighter 1
By Fire Chief Adam Grossman
January 10, 2021
Firefighter Shane Hume has spent several months completing the Firefighter 1 training module at the Chester County Public Safety Training Center. Joining our organization just several months ago, Firefighter Hume answered the calling to help protect his community. Being a father and having a full time job, Shane juggled his home time for this firefighter training that certified him to enter a IDLH (immediate danger to life and health) environment, performing victim search and fire suppression. Firefighter Hume was up for the challenge and traveled back and forth to South Coatesville several times a week, where the CCPSTC is located.
We open this same challenge to other members of the community. We accept applications from all members of the community, young and old. Email info@sfc31.com for more information.
