Monday Night Training

Crews spent the night driving and operating our fire engines. Both engines carry 1,000 gallons of water and have a 1500 gallon per minute pump. Hoses were used to connect from a water source and advanced to flow water for several evolutions of personnel in driver's training.

Driver's training is an extensive process and something we take seriously. Safe driving techniques and sufficient pumping is necessary for everybody's safety. Drivers participated in nearly 20 hours of field training in addition to over 50 hours of classroom training before being released to drive our apparatus.
