| On March 5th, 2007 Lieutenant Grossman was asked to put on a presentation to the Sadsburyville Historical Society about the Sadsburyville Fire Company and the family tradition that lies within. Lieutenant was asked to do this by Matilda Harrington of the society who is also a life member of the fire company.
The night started off by Matilda introducing Adam as a fifth generation firefighter of the company and also introduced the three generations that are still living and active with the fire company.
Lieutenant Grossman presented a 5 page summary of the history to the society and members in attendance followed by reviewing a photo collection of the fire company from over the years. In addition, at the end, there was refreshments for everybody to enjoy. All society members had a great time and greatly appreciated the presentation. Fortunately there were quite a few life members in attendance to remember some of the things that were talked about. |
