On Wednesday January 4th, 2017 at work end rush hour, the SFC and Keystone Valley EMS were dispatched to the 3300 block of Lincoln Highway in Sadsbury Township for an auto accident. The accident was in the Eastbound Lanes and was blocking one lane of traffic.

Deputy Chief Reynolds arrived on location to find a two vehicle accident blocking traffic. Engine 31-1 and firefighters arrived and diverted traffic around the scene and controlled the hazards on the vehicles involved. EMS evaluated one patient and was later transported to a local hospital for further evaluation.

Sadsburyville units remained on scene until a tow truck company and Police Department arrived. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
