Sadsburyville Village Enhancement Project to Begin Next Week

King of Prussia, PA – Lane restrictions are scheduled on Business U.S. 30 (Lincoln Highway) between Octorara Road and Old Wilmington Road in Sadsbury Township, Chester County, beginning Wednesday, September 7, from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, for pedestrian safety improvements, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) said today. The weekday lane restrictions on Business U.S. 30 (Lincoln Highway) will be in effect through the end of October.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through this work area.

The work is part of a $741,000 safety enhancement project to improve pedestrian mobility and safety by installing sidewalks, crosswalks, curb extensions and bulb-outs; and constructing traffic calming measures such as planted islands and tress

The entire project is expected to be completed by the end of October.

Marino Corporation of Skippack, Montgomery County, is the general contractor on the project, which is financed with 100 percent state funds.
