On Monday August 1st, 2016 Sadsburyville Firefighters conducted their weekly training session on hose line advancement. Tonight firefighters gathered at the Westwood Fire Company and conducted training with them.

Just prior to the start of training, at around 1900, the Fire Companies were alerted for an automatic fire alarm in the unit block of Hannum Drive in East Fallowfield Township. Engine 44-5 and Engine 31-1 responded to this call to find a faulty detector and quickly returned back for training.

Tonight's training focused on what we are the best at. As an Engine Company, a division in the fire service that is responsible for getting water on the fire, we strive to keep our skills up on advancing, extending and packing hose lines. Several evolutions were completed through out the night to involve deploying and extending different length of hose lines.
