Sadsburyville Firefighters responded to two investigations Sunday, one being storm related. Engine 31-1 and Engine 31-2 with multiple volunteers responded to both calls.

At 0954 the company was dispatched to the 300 block of Broad Meadow Drive for alarm bells. Firefighters arrived to find a vacant dwelling with the smoke detectors activated. Firefighters gained entry through a second story window and discovered normal conditions on the interior. The smoke detectors were reset and the company cleared the call at 1010.

The second call came in at 1718 for the 600 block of Sadsbury Road in Sadsbury Township. Within minutes fire company officials were on location to find a tree that had fallen to the ground bringing electric wires down. Firefighters secured the area and the power to the residence. There were no injuries reported as a result of the fall.
