Community CPR and First Aid Training in South Coatesville

The Chester County Department of Emergency Services division of Training will be offering a community CPR and First Aid class on Saturday June 18th from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The course is being provided to you at no cost.

The CPR Module, including AED (Automated External Defibrillation), teaches participants to recognize and care for life-threatening respiratory and cardiac emergencies. Topics include caring for conscious & unconscious choking victims; performing CPR; care for breathing & cardiac emergencies in adults; avoiding blood borne pathogen exposure. Community CPR includes Adult, Child and Infant.

The First Aid Module teaches participants how to recognize emergency situations, check the scene and call for help, avoid blood borne pathogen exposure, care for wounds, bone & soft tissue injuries, head & spinal injuries, burns, heat & cold emergencies and manage sudden illnesses.

Earning First Aid and CPR certifications will prepare you for emergencies and make you a better citizen.

The Chester County Public Safety Training Center is located at 137 Modena Road, Coatesville, Pennsylvania. Lunch will be provided to you. Please email Heather Morgan at hmorgan@chesco.org if you have any dietary restrictions. Registration deadline is June 11th, 2016.
