Year 2015 Comes To A Record Breaking End

In the year 2015, the Sadsburyville Fire Company responded to a record breaking 191 calls for service with our all volunteer staff. Chief Grossman stated he is very pleased with the great work the Sadsburyville Volunteers are doing day in and day out to provide the best possible service to Sadsbury Township.

In addition to responding to calls firefighters have spent countless hours in classroom and functional training to better our service to our communities. Numerous firefighters further their training in Firefighter 2 Certification and Vehicle Rescue as well as Hazardous Materials and Utility Awareness.

The year included a fire prevention open house in October for fire prevention week and education sessions to several daycares and preschools in the area. In 2016 we will make the event bigger and better, stay tuned.

This year's chicken barbecues were a huge success again in partnering with the Black Walnut Winery. We look forward to the next annual Fire and Wine event to be held in October 2016. Our fund drive also broke records this year, we thank everybody for their support. If everybody just gave a small amount, it would make a huge difference.
