Company Handles Dual Auto Accidents, Sadsbury Township

At the peak of rush hour, on October 28th, 2015 at 1610 hours the Sadsburyville Fire Company and Keystone Valley EMS were alerted for a two vehicle accident on Route 30 East of Route 10 in Sadsbury Township. Arriving two minutes after the time of dispatch, Chief Grossman confirmed a two vehicle accident with minor injuries at the Southeast corner of the intersection.

Due to the accident being minor, the rate of speed was reduced on all responding apparatus. Rescue-Engine 31-1 with a crew of 5 Firefighters arrived 5 minutes after the time of dispatch and blocked responders from oncoming traffic. Firefighters secured hazards on the vehicles involved and cleared the roadway of vehicle debris from the collision. Ambulance 08 confirmed no injuries and went available shortly after their arrival. Pennsylvania State Police were on location investigating the accident. All units cleared the scene at 1625 hours.

Simultaneously a second accident was handled by Deputy Chief Supplee, Engine 31-2 with a crew of 4 and Westwood EMS on Aim Boulevard South of Lincoln Highway. Again minor injuries were reported and units cleared the scene shortly after arrival.
