One Vehicle Accident Causes Morning Delays, Sadsbury Township

On April 20th, 2015 at 0659 hours the Sadsburyville Fire Company was dispatched for an auto accident on the Eastbound Route 30 bypass. Initially there was confusion in the location and the Westwood Fire Company and Keystone Valley Fire Department were also dispatched to different locations in their districts, however the incident was on the Route 30 Bypass East of Route 30 in Sadsbury Township, a Sadsburyville Fire Company Local.

Assistant Chief Reynolds went on location at 0710 hours and established Bypass Command. A one vehicle accident was found with no entrapment, the fire units were held to Engine 31-1 and EMS from Keystone Valley.

Firefighters assisted EMS and cleared the roadway of debris. Traffic control was also provided at the scene and was causing some delay in traffic, but one lane was still open. Keystone Valley EMS transported one victim to a local hospital for further evaluation. Sadsburyville units cleared the scene at 0756 hours.
