On August 6th 2007, The Company was dispatched to the 100 block of compass road in Sadsbury Township for a reported transformer fire. A caller reported a tree had fallen and on the power lines causing the transformer to catch fire. Chief Supplee and Deputy Chief Reynolds responded right after dispatch and received the reports from the Chester County 911 center. Deputy Chief Reynolds was the first to arrive and confirm the reports finding a tree smoldering from the high tension line being down on the tree. Chief Supplee arrived and made a notification to PECO for a response to the scene. PECOarrived 2 hours later after the notification and the scene was turned over to them with the 31 units clearing the scene.

On August 8th 2007, The Company was again dispatched out for more trees and wires this time in the area of Old Wilmington Road South of Washington Lane. Engine 31-2 responded with Deputy Chief Reynolds aboard and was advised by the Chester County 911 Center that the caller heard three loud explosions and walked outside of their house to find a tree had fallen on wires. Engine 31-2 arrived to confirm the report and made a notification to PECO Electric. Engine 31-2 then requested traffic 44 to the scene for assistance with traffic control. Crews from Pomeroy Ambulance and Sadsburyville worked together to shut the road down till the Westwood fire police officer law showed up to help shut the hill down. PECO arrived a short time after the notification and handled cutting the tree up them selves after the tree was cut the 31 and 29 crews went available.
