Reported Building Fire on Commons Drive, West Sadsbury Township

In the early cold morning of February 16th, 2015 at 0228 hours the Sadsburyville Fire Company was dispatched to assist the Keystone Valley Fire Department with a reported building fire in the 100 block of Commons Drive in West Sadsbury Township. Engine 31-1 and Chief 31 made the response.

Chief Grossman and Chief Gathercole arrived on scene at 0237 hours with nothing showing. Chief Grossman conducted a 360 survey of the building and reported back to Chief Gathercole who established Walmart Command on side A. Chief Grossman then went interior to investigate the situation and found a broken water pipe in the front vestibule of the structure.

Sadsburyville Firefighters then secured the water source to the sprinkler pipe to stop the leak until it could be fixed. Keystone Valley crews secured the electric to the area of the leak. The situation was quickly placed under control and Sadsburyville units cleared the scene at 0304 hours.
