On January 9th, 2015 at 2345 hours the Sadsburyville, White Horse, Honey Brook, Gap, Christiana, and Westwood Fire Companies were dispatched to the 100 block of Summit Ridge Road in West Caln Township for a structure fire, assisting the Wagontown Fire Company.

Upon arrival of Chief Grossman and Wagontown Deputy Chief Reber, a structure was found to be on fire of the exterior wall and spreading into the cock-loft area. Engine 35 arrived and crews advanced a hose line to the interior structure and began hooking the ceiling to expose the fire. White Horse and Sadsburyville Firefighters advanced a back up hose line and assisted with hooking and fire suppression.

The fire was quickly under control with all hands working. Wagontown Deputy Chief Reber held the Summit Ridge Command. Shortly after the control time at 1238 hours, all units with exception of the Wagontown Fire Company were released.
