On October 15th, 2014, the Sadsburyville Fire Company conducted fire prevention educating at the two local preschools that are in Sadsbury Township, Little Jewels Preschool and Upper Octorara Preschool. Traditionally we have been presenting fire prevention education to these preschools for the past 3 years.

Hot topics of the day were stop, drop and roll, practicing an escape route and the theme of this years fire prevention week, checking your smoke detectors. It is proving that working smoke detectors save lives. After a classroom session was giving, the kids proceeded out to our fire apparatus where they could see a real fire engine and climb through it just like a firefighter.

A good time was had by all in attendance and we thank the preschools for another opportunity to educate today's youth on fire prevention and safety.
