Building Fire on Gunnard Carlson Drive, Sadsbury Township

On Thursday July 17th, 2014 at 1340 hours, the Sadsburyville, Westwood and Wagontown Fire Companies and the Keystone Valley Fire Department were dispatched for a building fire in the 500 block of Gunnard Carlson Drive in Sadsbury Township.

Assistant Chief Reynolds arrived on scene at 1348 hours and established Bellaire Command, reporting a forklift on fire inside of the building.

Engine 31-1 arrived on scene at 1348 hours and ran the front bumper 150' attack line to the forklift that had been removed from the building and extinguished the fire. Engine 31-2 arrived behind Engine 31-1 and assisted their crew with fire suppression. Westwood Engine 44-5 arrived behind Engine 31-2 and prepared to supply water to the scene if needed. Wagontown Engine 35 and Keystone Engine 08-2 came in and stood by.

Bellaire Command placed the fire under control 1355 hours and held the assignment to the Sadsburyville Fire units, all cleared the scene at 1408 hours.
