Auto Accident with Entrapment, Sadsbury Township

On July 11th, 2014 at 1243 hours the Sadsburyville Fire Company, Keystone Valley Fire Department, Westwood Fire Company Ambulance and Medic 93 were dispatched to Route 10 north of Route 30 in Sadsbury Township for an auto accident with entrapment.

At 1255 hours Engine 31-1 arrived on location and began an extrication of a trapped victim. Engine 31-1 firefighters deployed hurst hydraulic rescue tools to open the vehicle for patient packaging. Just four minutes after our fire apparatus arrived, extrication was complete and the patient was transferred to Ambulance 08-2.

Additional units assisted with hazard and traffic control. Sadsburyville units remained on the scene until being released by command at 1315 hours.
