Brush and Outbuilding Fire, South Coatesville Borough

On Saturday April, 12th, 2014 just after 1500 hours, the Sadsburyville Fire Company was dispatched to assist the Modena Fire Company on a woods and outbuilding fire on Modena Road in South Coatesville Borough.

Initially a structure response went out at 142 Modena Road for an outbuilding fire. Modena Chief Dowlin arrived on location and found an outbuilding fully involved, spreading into the surrounding wooded area.

Engine 31-1 arrived and assisted other fire companies with attacking the woods fire from Cambria Avenue, on the west side of the fire. The fire was quickly under control at 1555 hours and units returned to station a short time later.
