Three Vehicle Accident Injures One

On Wednesday, May 15th, 2013 the Sadsburyville Fire Company along with Keystone Valley Engine 08-1, Ambulance 08, and Westwood Ambulance 44-1 were dispatched at 1222 to the intersection of Route 30 and Quaker Road in Sadsbury Township for reports of an auto accident.

Engine 31-1 responded at 1227 with 5 firefighters aboard and arrived on the scene three minutes later. Once on scene, crews split up to assess for injuries and hazards.

EMS personnel from Ambulance 08 and Ambulance 44-1 arrived and continued medical evaluations on 5 total patients.

One patient was transported to Brandywine Hospital by Ambulance 08 for treatment of injuries and Ambulance 44-1 was released from the scene.

Firefighters from Sadsburyville assisted the police and tow recovery units with cleaning the roadway of debris.

All units cleared the scene at 1302.
