| On April 27th, 2012 at the 65th Annual Westwood Fire Company Banquet, Sadsburyville QRS (Quick Response Service) received a donation from the Westwood Fire Company for the services we provide to their Ambulances stationed in Westwood and Wagontown Fire Companies. Our QRS does not make any money for the services we provide. The equipment and medical supplies that we use we purchase ourselves through our self-raised funds done by our volunteers on a regular basis. Even though we only run less than 30% of our QRS calls in West Caln Township and Valley Township assisting them, we are gracious to receive this money from them. We appreciate they recognize our financial needs for the services we provide. The remainders of our QRS calls are in Sadsbury Township assisting the Pomeroy Fire Company Ambulance and a small portion to the Parkesburg Fire Company Ambulance. Once again thank you to the Westwood Fire Company for providing a financial contribution to our QRS to assist with the purchase of equipment and supplies. In addition, the Glen Moore and East Brandywine Fire Companies also received a donation as they provide QRS to Westwood EMS. |
