Company Dumps House for Auto Accident in Sadsburyville |

| At 2121 hours on April 4th, 2012 the Sadsburyville Fire Company No. 1 and an Ambulance from the Pomeroy Ambulance Division were dispatched to Route 30 and Old Wilmington Road in Sadsbury Township for an auto accident. Calls to 911 reported a 2 vehicle accident blocking the road way. Lieutenant Yervelli arrived on location at 2124 hours and confirmed the report adding multiple injuries, fluids on the road way and a need for traffic control. Chief Grossman arrived at 2125 and assumed Route 30 Command. Squad 31 and Deputy Chief Supplee arrived behind and Deputy Supplee assumed operations. Crews from Squad 31, QRS 31 and EMS Captain Supplee split and began treating the sick and injured. Engine 31-1 with 5 Firefighters led by Captain Zwick arrived on location at 2128 hours and controlled the hazards on both vehicles. Ambulance 29-2 and Ambulance 28 went on location and packaged their patients followed by transporting to local hospitals. Engine 31-2 went on location at 2132 hours with 4 Firefighters and provided additional lighting to the scene and temporarily blocked traffic on the west side of the incident. Traffic 44 was summoned to the scene and provided traffic control on the east side of the incident at 1st Avenue and Lincoln Highway and 1st Avenue and Old Wilmington Road. At 2205 hours Chief Grossman terminated Route 30 Command and all units returned to Station available. |
