The SFC was summoned to the unit block of Compass Road in Sadsbury Township for a motorcycle accident. The time of dispatch was around 16:41 and Rescue 31 and Utility 31 both responded.

Additional EMS resources were also called to the scene from the Westwood Fire Company for advanced life support and Washington Hose Company for a transport unit. The accident was reported by Keystone Valley EMS who were standing by on scene of the raceway and witnessed the accident.

An air medical helicopter was flown to the scene to transport the patient to a local trauma center. Fire and rescue personnel established a landing zone at the scene and communicated to the aircraft personnel with a description of the area for a safe landing.

Assistant Chief Reynolds was in charge of the incident and SFC units cleared the scene within about 45 minutes after arriving. Our thoughts are with the racer involved in this accident.
