Dual Accidents During Route 30 Rush Hour, Sadsbury Township

On Wednesday June 1st, 2022 at 17:27, the Sadsburyville Fire Company and Keystone Valley Ambulance were dispatched to the 3300 block of West Lincoln Highway in Sadsbury Township for an auto accident. Arriving first, Ambulance 08 reported no injuries and the assignment was scaled back to fire police.

As units were proceeding into the first accident, Battalion Chief Brecht came across a 3 vehicle accident at Compass Road and W Lincoln Highway. All units redirected to this accident and cleared the 1st accident with the exception of fire police.

Chief Grossman arrived and established the Route 30 Command. SFC Firefighters arrived with the Rescue Truck and went in service with vehicle stabilization and extending the drivers side door to open up for EMS, there was still 1 patient in the car.

Both EMS units were on scene from Keystone Valley treating separate patients but only 1 unit transported to a local hospital for further evaluation.

Fire units cleared the scene 17:58 leaving fire police on scene to assist the Police Department and Fling’s Towing.
