On Sunday May 22nd, 2022 at 03:34, the Sadsburyville Fire Company and Keystone Valley EMS were dispatched to the westbound Route 30 bypass east of Lincoln Highway in Sadsbury Township for an auto accident.

Ambulance 08 arrived at 03:42 and reported a one vehicle accident around mile marker 267.1. They also triaged finding three potential patients with no patients entrapped in the vehicle and requested additional EMS to the scene. Chief Grossman arrived at 0344 and established the Bypass Command. Additional transport units and paramedics from the Westwood Fire Company were dispatched to assist.

Rescue 31 arrived and provided lighting at the scene. One car had taken out the end of the guard rail, rolled on its side and was partially down an embankment. Rescue crews stabilized the vehicle and removed the guard rail from on top of the vehicle but part of it was embedded into the vehicle.

Additional EMS units were later recalled and all patients refused treatment. Fling’s towing was called to the scene to lift the vehicle back onto the road and clear it from the highway.
