On Wednesday March 3rd, 2021 at 1405 hours, the Sadsburyville Fire Company was alerted for a commercial fire box in the 100 block of Patriot Way in Sadsbury Township. Mutual aid from Wagontown, Westwood, Coatesville, Keystone Valley and Christiana were also all dispatched.

Arriving FDO, Battalion 44 Sly sized up a large 1 story industrial building with no smoke or fire conditions from the exterior. Upon further investigation it was determined there was a machine fire inside of the building and had been extinguished by staff on site.

Chief Grossman marked enroute at 1408 and acknowledged all reports. Since the fire was out and minor smoke was in the building, the assignment as held to the Sadsburyville units and all others returned to quarters.
