Vehicle Into a Structure in Sadsburyville

On Tuesday May 5th, 2020 at 1904 hours the Sadsburyville Fire Company and Keystone Valley EMS were dispatched to Old Wilmington Road in the area of the Route 30 bypass for an auto accident, reported a vehicle into a structure. Arriving within a minute of dispatched, Assistant Chief Reynolds updated the location to Lincoln Highway at Old Wilmington Road in Sadsbury Township.

Assistant Chief Reynolds investigated the accident and determined there was an injury in one vehicle and another vehicle into a structure. The vehicle into the structure was immediately turned off and accessed for further hazard to the adjacent occupancies.

Fire Chief Grossman arrived at 1908 hours and established the Lincoln Highway Command. Sadsburyville Fire police were directed to shut down Lincoln Highway between Old Wilmington Road and First Avenue in both directions. Engine 31-1, Engine 31-2 and Utility 31 all made the response.

A second ambulance was requested to the scene for a second patient summoning an ALS ambulance from the Westwood Fire Company. Fling's Towing also assisted at the scene, removing both vehicles from the roadway. Crews cleared an excessive amount of debris, including car parts and fluids.
