On March 16th, 2020 at 2144 the Sadsburyville Fire Company was dispatched for an automatic fire alarm in the unit block of Aim Boulevard in Sadsbury Township. Within 5 minutes of being dispatched, Engine 31-1 with a crew of 5 firefighters and Chief 31 arrived to find nothing showing from the exterior of a 2 story commercial building.

The building was secured but smoke was visible in the interior of the building. Firefighters extended the front bumper line and forced entry to locate the fire. At this time, Chief Grossman assumed the Aim Boulevard Command and requested the building assignment upgrade bringing additional resources from Westwood, Wagontown, Coatesville, Modena, Gap and Keystone Valley.

Once interior, firefighters located a fire inside of a wall, opened the wall and extinguished it. The fire was quickly under control and firefighters began ventilation. With the fire out, the balance of mutual aid units were recalled. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
