On Wednesday January 22nd, 2020 at 1904 hours the Sadsburyville Fire Company was dispatched to the unit block of Reel Street in the Pomeroy Heights section of Sadsbury Township for an outbuilding fire. Automatic aid from Keystone Valley, Westwood and Wagontown were also dispatched to the fire because it was involving a structure and the standard for those calls inside our fire district.

Deputy Chief Brecht arrived at 1908, reported a fully involved shed and established the Reel Street Command. Engine 31-1 arrived at 1912 hours, took the driveway, extended the pipe from the front bumper and extinguished the fire.

Tanker 08 arrived and established a water supply to Engine 31-1. Engine 08 provided manpower to support our first in crews.

The fire was under control at 1913 hours with all hands working. Additional equipment was returned to their quarters. Engine 35 stood by at Station 31 until 31 units were clear of this call. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Chester County Fire Marshal's Office.
