During the early morning hours of Christmas 2019, the company was dispatched at 0239 hours for a working fire on Charles Street in Valley Township. Initially the Westwood Fire Company was dispatched for an auto fire and upon arrival an exposure of a building was also involved with flames. This report summoned additional units from Coatesville and Sadsburyville to the scene.

Engine 31-1 with a crew of 4 firefighters made the response to this call. Upon arrival firefighters assisted with overhaul of the fire area. Sadsburyville units cleared the scene at 0324 hours.
