Building Fire in Sadsburyville

On Wednesday January 15th, 2020 at 1418, the Sadsburyville Fire Company was dispatched to the 2900 block of Lincoln Highway in Sadsbury Township for a building fire. Mutual aid from Keystone Valley, Westwood and Wagontown were also dispatched to assist.
Engine 31-1 arrived on location at 1423 hours and went in service on a dryer fire. Firefighters extinguished burning clothes and checked for extension around the dryer that was on fire. Additionally firefighters used positive pressure to ventilate smoke from the building.
Deputy Chief Brecht held the Blue Spot Command. The situation was quickly under control minutes after Sadsburyville units arrived and all mutual aid was returned to quarters.
