Saturday, August 25th, 2007 was the completion of a structural burn session for Chief Supplee, Deputy Reynolds and Assistant Trader held at the Lancaster County Public Safety Training in Manheim, Pennsylvania. All three officers are in pursuit of Firefighter 1 certification, obtaining a structural burn certificate is one of the three parts needed for the certification.
The session was held on three different days with two classroom nights and one Saturday, all day, session. Chiefs refreshed there skills on firefighter safety, fire suppression and search and rescue. It was a long day but even the Chief made it through, with a lot of Gatorade!
Good luck to all three men on pursuing your Firefighter 1 certification as it only makes our company a stronger and safer place to be.
